Meatballs

Original Breadcrumbs RECIPE SERVES 4

INGREDIENTS

  • 1/3 Cup Abigail’s Plain Breadcrumbs
  • 1/3 Cup Milk or Water
  • 454 g (1 lb.) of Ground Beef
  • ½ medium Onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove of Garlic, minced
  • 8 Sprigs fresh Parsley finely chopped
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • ½ tsp Black Pepper

DIRECTIONS

  1. Place Abigail’s Kitchen Plain Breadcrumbs in a bowl and cover with milk or water let rest for 2 minutes. Add the beef, egg, salt and pepper and blend well together. Then add onion, garlic, parmesan cheese and parsley and mix. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for 1 hour.
  2. Preheat oven to 350 F. Divide mixture in 4 parts and form into four equal balls. Heat oil in a large ovenproof skillet over medium heat. Sauté meatballs until brown, a few minutes on each side. Place in oven to finish cooking, 18 to 25 minutes. Serve immediately with tomato sauce.
